HERE AT THE VINYL STUDIO WE LOVE ANY EXCUSE TO HAVE A GOOD TIME, AND ST. PATRICK’S DAY IS NO EXCEPTION! TODAY we’re going to let you know how we celebrate st. paddy’s day here in des Moines, iowa. Whether you’re going out or staying in, there’s something for everyone!
TO START OFF THE GREEN HOLIDAY, IT ONLY MAKES SENSE THAT WE GET OUR GREEN ON and where better than grabbing something from the vinyl studio. You can keep it simple with YOUR GOOD TIMES SHIRT OR REALLY SHOW YOUR HOLIDAY SPIRIT WITH an IOWA-NT A BEER CLOVER OR HAPPY ST. PARTY’S DAY T-SHIRT.
then as the shirt says it’s time to either hit your local bars, buy your own beer, or make some of your own green drinks. Here’s a list of some of our favorite bars and pubs to go to in Des Moines for st. patrick’s day. just to keep in mind though that some events may have different rules and regulations due to our dear friend miss pandemic.

The oldest bar in the Des Moines metro, sully’s sells cold beer and has A st. Patrick’s Day Heated Tent Party!

in normal years, des moines holds a large st. patrick’s day parade downtown but unfortunately this year there will be no parade. However, that doesn’t mean you can’t watch virtual parades with your friends and family. Other festive activities would be to make green foods, have an irish dance party or hunt for four leaf clovers around your neighborhood!
